Here Dilisk joined the latter while Vespasia immediately appeared in fourth position on the outside. Eecall, too, showed a bold front, but it was only an expiring effort, and then came Carylon, followed by Plutarch and Esperance Steel Arrow shot his bolt at the three furlongs, where Minstrel Boy was leading a, length and Carlyon going into second place followed the hurdle-racer into the straight, his nearest attendants being Sleel Arrow, Dilisk, Vespasia, and Plutarch, with Esptrance near the rails, and at the head of the others were Lamond, Centaur and T\?.riiandez.
