ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.
Annie Major (Hamilton).—We are glad you like the " Household Page," and are obliged to you for the recipes. You write a very nice lady-like hand. Katie.—Governesses' situations are somewhat hard to get. Do not apply to a Eegistry Office, unless you know it to be a thoroughly respectable one. Aunt Mart (Devonport).—Many thanks for your kind note. It is gratifying to find our efforts to please are appreciated. You write a somewhat masculine hand but it is very legible. Would that all our correspondents wrote .as you do. Many people appear to think it is the correct thing to cover their paper with hieroglyphics almost (sometimes quite) impossible to decipher. Nellie N. (I).—How can we possibly tell you how tall you will be ? Of all the foolish questions we ever received, this is certainly the most foolish. (2). Advertise in the Evening Bell. (3). Handwriting very indifferent.
