To meet the steadily-increasing circulation of the Obsebveu and Feee Lance and the Evening- Behd, tbe Proprietary have cabled to England for a larger and Faster Machine of the newest mate, and which is expected to arrive in about six weeks' time. To enable the Subscribers of both papers to participate in our advancing prosperity, and to commemorate the arrival of the New Machine, and last bub nob ieasb to increase th£Tftimber of Subscribers, we have decided to distribute another Fifty Pounds in "Valuable Works of Art, on the same lines as our last Art TJnion, and which, we are pleased to say, gare unqualified satisfaction to all concerned. The Pbizes to be presented will consist of Paintings by local artists, Steel Engravings, Medallions and Bas Reliefs o£ Ancient and Modern Potentates, Portraits of Popular Heroes, Photographs of Eminent Persons, Chromos, Oleographs, &c, &c, a consignment of which is daily expected to arrive. A description of the Pbizes and their respective values will be published in a future issue. INSTRUCTIONS. Fill in your Name and Address, and cut the Coupon out of the paper. ■ For every Two Coupons cut out of the Obsebveb and Free Lance, or every Six cut out of the Evening Beii, and sent to this Office, you will receive One Ticket, with a number, which will entitle you to a chance in the drawing for Prizes.
