PAKURANGA PUZZLERS.
J. looked very handsome spooning with that young lady from the pah on Sunday. The butcher and the pupil teacher are going to run in double harness. The Shark is first favourite for the Howick Cup. Can!t Charley and Annie find something to talk about instead of comparing watches. The younkers say that when they go playing at Fox and Hounds again they will get the butcher for the ' Fox.' Mary says slugs have no business crawling around after dark. Charley and' Tom had better lay it on light the next time they anchor at Brairwell ; fences have ears. Why is Miss X: always singing, ' No one cares for me ?' What about W., Mary ? Miss Gh says she will have no more to do with the Puppy because he took Porky home from the Hall on Sunday night. Did L. think he was going to have the pleasure of taking Mrs T. home the other night ? Joe was too many for him, eh, Harry ?
