WHY HE WALKED AWAY.
' What's this ? ' asked a visitor in the oil country as he commenced tapping a tin can which a friend held in bis hand. ' N. G. replied the other. ' Which means 'no good ' I suppose ? ' continued the inquirer, as he kicked it. ' Oh no,' answered the other. < VVhat then ? ' ' Mtro -glycerine.' ' Oh.' And he walked away.
