At the " devil's auction " most of the dodgers were " sold." The Kaeo Eat is whipping the Cat over the last concert. Sir Peter objects to pressed hay(es). His pedigree prefers the Downs (not Dartmoor). The Professor is trying to solve why a disloyal subject cannot sing a patriotic song. The " Sawdust King " is watched and waited for at Kamo. The ladies say that individual who objected to a ball, and spoiled their chance of an evening's enjoyment, is only a ball of wind — a blatherskite.
