Cooper. — A rough customer ; takes a ball through the scrimmage in fine style. GriBBES. — A hard working forward, and good dribbler. Holmes. — Bather slow, but ' bucks in ' ; very good on line out. Kes t g. — The best dribbler in the team ; very fast. M'Gowan. — A light forward, with plenty of dash ; good dribbler. Meiilet. — "Very fast and dodgy ; kicks well with either foot. Shaw. — Works hard, but lacks judgment in kicking when near his opponent's goal line. Webb (Captain) . — Plays a good hard game ; works like a demon in the scrimmage. Fairbrother. — A most dangerous man if he gets away ; kicks and punts well. Leckie.— The best back in the team; very fast runner, but liable to lose his head. Pearce. — Another rising young player. His dodgy runs will cause his enemies, trouble. Perry. — No man in the team more likely to score. Plays with a lot of dash. Egberts. — The best all-round man in the team.
