Ted is inconsolable since Clara left. It was too bad of Ghis to send L. that piece of poetry. Rumour says that Martin and the charming Miss F. are shortly to be made one. What attracts our new schoolteacher to Chalk Farm so often lately ? Is it Lizzie ? Since the dance at Lucas' Creek, the Zulu may be heard singing—' Thou art over in my dreams, littlo darling.' * Albert has quite captivated the Angel by the winning way he sang ' My Grandfather's Clock ' at the hop the other night.
