MONGONUI.
•A. cricket match between the Mongonui and Oruru Clubs took place at the Oruru Cricket Ground on Saturday, the 16th inßt., resulting in a for Oruru by 10. The Mongonui Club 'had to play under disadvantages, some of its best men. being unavoidably absent. A good number of ladies watched the game with great interest, each one hoping the ribbon they woi'e would* win. Miss E.,ttf Mongonui, looked very charming The Rev. Mr Palmer, of the Norfolk Island Mission Station, pajd" Mongonui a short visit lately^ and very kindly held divine service at the. church. He was a passenger by : the'- schooner Queen for.
