OBSERVER ART UNION. ■ - ; — ♦■ An Art Union, for valuable Works of Art, to be called " The Obseeveb Act Union," will (by the permission of the Hon. the Colonial Secretary) take place at this office on or about the 16th day of September, 1882. The following are the Eules :— 1. Each paper for thirteen weeks, commencing June 3rd, will contain a Coupon, and thirteen of these Coupons, (of any date) being cut out and sent to this office, with the name and address of the sender, a ticket entitling the recipient to one chance in the Art Union ■will be forwarded by return post. 2. The proper name and address Inust be written clearly and fully on the Coupon 3. The Coupons must be neatly cut out round the l)lack line, so as to be all the same size. In drawing public attention to the above-named place, I wish to state that the Gentlemen's DINING ROOM, -which is 36 x 22, has been provided regardless of expense with, .all the necessary improvements, giving plenty of room at and between the dining tables. The COFFEE AND SMOKING ROOM, which is 13 x 11, with settees all round, is suitably furnished, and contains all the leading newspapers. Also, Gentlemen's LAVATORY, 9x7, fitted up with toilet reqnisites and suitably furnished. Tho CULINARY DEPARTMENT has also been supplied with every convenience and appliance, so as to serve meals at a moment's notice. The whole place is quite new, with a new system of working. Good attendance, and everything clean. Tho whole establishment is second to none in Auckland, and I therefore solicit a visit f rsm you to our new and comfortable Dining Rooms. MEAL HOURS : Breakfast 8 to 10 Luncheon 12 to 3 Tea sto 7 Supper S to 10 Good, Coffee (not boiled, but made in an improved style) can be obtained at all hours in the Coffee-room. LADIES' DINING ROOM UPSTAIRS, well ventilated, &c, with lavatory attached.
