TE AWAMUTU,
The jam-tarts, finding that they cannot get books from Joey for nothing, have suddenly discovered that they have sufficient reading at home for the winter. The other day they were loudly lamenting the sad state of the public library. Now sadness reigns upon the plains, Of lovely Te A'mutu, No more our Will in dickey frill, To fair ones makes his kotoo, No more with scent Is redolent The Rink's warm atmosphere, Our Willies gone, ochone, mavrone, Excuse this idle tear !
