A Calcutta Sweep will be drawn the same evening. M. GALLAGHER. V ICTORIAN DERBY. TO BE RUN ON SATURDAY, 29th OCTOBER. Mr Wm, Adams will open his Totalisator on the Derby on THURSDAY, the 27th instant, and close at 4 o'clock p.m. on SATURDAY, the 29th instant, at Mr Jones', Tobacconist, Queen-street. The Distribution will be as follows :— Fifty per cent. to Ist horse, thirty per cent, to 2nd horse, and twentyfive per cent, to 3rd horse. Twenty-three first favourites for the race will be placed on the Totalisator. No. 24 will be called the " field," consisting of the remaining horses. Should a horse of No. 24 win, the pool will be dividen in the usual way. TI/T ELBOURNE CUP. TO BE RUN ON TUESDAY, Ist NOVEMBER. Mr Wm.
