FIRST SPRING- SERIES

The First Spring Prize Drawing for no less than Thirtt Valuable Gifts will take place on Wednesday, 12th of October, under the following new rules, which should be carefully perused : —

EULES,

1. Coupons numbered successively 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, appeared in the last five, and will appear in the present and in the next two numbers of the Observer. 2. These eight coupons will form a set entitling the holder (who must cut them out neatly by the upper lines and send them in, pinned together, to the Puzzle Editor on or before Wednesday, the 12th of October) to eight chances in the First Spring Prize Drawing. One coupon will be of no use without the other seven, and as no extra coupon wili bo published this time to enable buyers to make up their sets, subscribers are advised to purchase the paper early on the day of piiblication, and, having clipped out the coupon, to keep it carefully. 3. The proper name and address must be written clearly and fully on the coupon.
