MIDWINTE RPRIZE DRAWING.

Persons who have lost or mislaid Coupons for this drawing, can obtain missing numbers (if in stock) by applying at the office on or before Wednesday next. The drawing will take place at the usual hour, viz., 7.30 p.m., on Wednesday evening next, the 10th inst., in the presence of a committee selected from the drawers who are present. NOTICE. An absurd rumour having obtained currency amongst thoughtless people to the effect that only those who obtain their papers from the office or regular agents participate in the Prize Drawings, we beg most emphatically to contradict it. It doesn't matter a straw to us how, when, Avhere, or by what means buyers obtain their papers nor have we any means of finding it out. So long as John Jones or Annie Anybodyelse sends in their set of eight coupons numbered consecutively, and properly filled in with name and address, he or she has eight chances for the prize drawing. The absence of even one coupon from a set of course disqualifies, as the rule is that a buyer must purchase the paper for eight successive weeks to have a chance. People can increase their chances by buying more papers — thus, supposing Mary Snooks was to purchase four papers from a runner or agent every week for the ensuing eight weeks (commencing on next Friday), she would have 32 chances for the First Spring Prize Drawing. FIRST SPRING PRIZE DRAWING. Note carefully that No. 1 Coupon for this most important distribution — the largest and most valuable yet given— will be published in NEXT ISSUE.
