They are jewelled in two holes and warranted correct. — At the Te AAvamuta Bazaar a soldier had a fit to the intense delight of " Sam " who asked a young lady if it was a charade they were playing, as the body was borne along. — "Verbum Sap" previous to his departure from Te Awamuta for Cambridge, vented his spleen ou the late members of the Band, through the agency of Byronic valentines of the Bernesco style ! — Father attended the Waikato meeting on both days. He seemed to enjoy himself immensely, taking great interest in the race, and being cordial with every one, especially with Mick Gallagher, the owner of Harry Mount, whom he congratulated after his win. Perhaps he won a bet or two. His face was beaming with pleasure.
