THE "OBSERVER" PRIZE.
A prize of £5 (five pounds) will be given to the person who first succeeds in successfully placing the first three horses in the Auckland Cup. RULES. 1. The coupon attached hereto must be cut out, and the names of the horses filled in the spaces apportioned to them. The date and hour of filling in must also be carefully attached. Competitors writing on ordinary slips of paper will be disqualified. 2. The prize will be given to the successful competitor whose coupon bears the earliest date. 3. Competitors may anake as many attempts as they lite, provided only each selection is written on a separate coupon, and filled in according to the directions given. 4. The coupon must be enclosed in a stamped envelope and directed as under. Sporting Editor, Observer, Box 167, Post Offico, Auckland. 5. Non-compliance with any one of the above rules will disqualify.
