Listen unto the tale of the two Samuels. Samuel the First got into sore trouble, and was interviewed by Judge Richmond. The trouble, however, turned out to be no trouble, and Samuel Avas acquitted. Then said Samuel the Second, to himself, "Lo, I will play the good ' Sam'-aritan, and collect the wherewithal to pay my brother's law expenses. " And he did so; and the people gave unto him liberally. Now, it came to pass that Samuel the First heard these things, and waited expectantly for the money. But Samuel the Second tarried awhile and brought it not. Then Samuel the First grew incensed and said, " If he cometh not soon I will refuse his dirty money. " And there were "ructions " between the Samuels.
