Mr. Charles Craig is an actor who, "by right, should belong to a first-class Parisian Company. Like the members of the famous Comedie Francaise, betakes as much pains with a small part as with one of sixty sides. His make-up and acting during the first few nights of " Pinafore " were both wonderful ; in fact the Bosun, usually a nonentity, became quite a prominent character.
