Captain Kee, of the Church Army, who is known to many Thames residents, arrived here yesterday. He is training children arid will present his Nativity Play in St. George’s Anglican Church on Monday, 12th. inst. This Christmas drama is most impressive and, once seen, is not easily for-

gotten. Mr. T. H. Thomas, assistant master at the Napier Intermediate School, has been appointed headmaster of the Ngatea District High School, and will take up his duties in the New Year.
