A ROWING CLUB FOR THAMES?

[To the Editor]. Sir, —As a young man, keen on sport, I would like to make a plea for some enthusiasm to be displayed in the formation of a rowing club at Thames. This fine sport flourished locally many years ago, I believe, and Thames oarsmen were known far and wide.

Now, Sir, there are several young fellows in town who would take up the sport seriously, if some of the "old hands" would' offer them some advice a 3 to the best method of forming the basis of a club.
