LICENSE ALSO CANCELLED.
CASE IN WELLINGTON,

“In my opinion you as a taxi-driver should know much better than other drivers how serious an offence it is to become drunk in charge of a car. There is no suggestion here that you were merely slightly intoxicated,” said Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., in convicting .William Henry Solomon, aged 40, oh
such a charge. A fine of £2O was imposed and defendant’s license was cancelled for two .years from the end of this month.
