FARMER’S EXPLANATION. COWS’ TEATS NEVER WASHED. “Wo don’t wash the teats,’’ said a farmer in the Thames Magistrate’s Court yesterday, in reply to a question as to whether a farm-hand was assigned to that .job. “And you don't wash the udders, either?” queried the magistrate, Mr. W. Ji. Freeman. The farmer: No. Mr. Freeman: It all goes in with the milk, then? The farmer: Well, I suppose so!
