MAN SEVERELY BURNED. TOUCHED HIGH POWER CABLE. [By Telegraph.—Press Association j LEVIN, April 12. A narrow escape from death by elec trocution was experienced by a man employed at the Mauiahao hydro-elec-tric station yesterday while cleaning a portion of tho machinery. The man wms Air. B. Murdock, aged 38, married, and he came in contact with a cable carrying 60,000 volts. He sueered severe burns to both feet and hand and was sent to hospital. His condition, however, is stated to be not serious.
