THAMES SOCIAL ITEMS. NEWS ABOUT PEOPLE. Mrs. Coughan is the guest of Mrs. S. Muir, ltollestou Street. Mrs. E. Watson, Thornton’s Bay, is spending a short holiday in Wellington. Mrs. C. R. Olemson paid a short visit to Tauranga during this week. Mrs. J. Harvey, of Hotel Imperial, has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. W. Bongard spent a few days in'Rotorua during last week-end. Mrs. V. Hunter paid a short visit to Paeroa during this week. Miss E. Muir is on holiday in Auckland. Miss D. Mcllroy is visiting her home at Mangatahi. Misses H. and D. Donovan are on a motoring. tour of the North Island. Mrs. S. Truin, of Auckland, was the guest of Mrs. R. Dovell, Pollen Street, at the week-end. Mrs. Dudley Cheat and Mrs. O’Longhlin, of Hamilton, were among the visitors to Thames at the weekend. They were tlie guests of their sister, Mrs. R. Doa'cll, Pollen Street.
