INCORRECT REPORTS.
THE CRUISER LEANDER. NOT LEAVING FOll CHINA. [By Telegraph.*— Press Association] AUCKLAND, Aug. 25. . A report that H.M.S. Leandcr may shortly leave for Shanghai, was discounted by Captain J. W» Rivett-Carnac yesterday. He said that he had had no such advice. He also stated that a report that the leave of the ratings transferred from H.M.S. Dunedin to the Lcander had been curtailed to one week was incorrect.
