ROAD BLOCKED.

THAMES.TO COROMANDEL; Another Slip To-day. \ TRAFFIC HELD UP. THOUSANDS OP YARDS OP SPOIL. For the second time in three weeks Thames-Coromandcl road is blocked to through traffic, as the result of a big slip occurring at Kerita this morning at the site of the former blockage. Several thousand yards of spoil came down from the adjoining hillside and overflowed the highway for a fair distance. Telophonic communication with Coromandel was not effected by . tho slip, as was tho case on the last occasion.

The Coromandel service-car was blocked at the northern side of the slip and a relief car had to Be sent from Thames to transport mails and passengers.

The Tapu-Whitianga Toad is open, and traffic to and from Coromandel will have to make the detour until the slip is cleared sufficiently to allow a track to be made for vehicles.
