Una Maud Millard, a single Avoman, aged 28, employed at the Masonic Hotel, died last evening after taking a glass of poison. Shortly after 8 o’clock she was found in a room by another employee drinking Avhat appeared to be medicine. From a statement Miss Millard made it Avas realised something Avas Avrong, and a doctor Avas summoned, but his efforts Avere unavailing, Miss Millard dying an hour later. She left a note, which Avill be read at the inquest tomorrow.
