TE AROHA PROTESTS.
AGAINST ELECTORAL CHANGE. MERGER WITH THAMES. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE VIEWS. [By Telegraph.—Press Association] TE AROHA, Aug. 24. At a public meeting convened by the Chamber of Commerce to discuss the inclusion of To Aroha in the Thames electorate, the following resolutions were passed:—* “That this meeting protests against the inclusion of Tc Aroha in. tho Thames electorate, and prefers being [included in Waikato or llauraki Plains.”
“That, if a new electorate be formed called tho Thames Valley, that To Aroha be associated with the County adjoining it.”
“That if the Electoral. Commission requires evidence, Mr. Coulter will represent Te Aroha.”
