MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED
COAST ROAD ACCIDENT. MACHINE SKIDS ON BEND. EIDER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL. When about to turn Windy Point, on the Coast Road, about 6.30 last evening, Mr. Jack Gordon, of Thames, and a pillion passenger employed at the Public Works camp at Wood’s Bay; were thrown from their motor-cycle. The machine skidded in the loose metal and swerved across the road to hit the bank. Mr. Gordon was rendered unconscious and received head and facial injuries. The passenger was badly dazed and received cuts and bruises. A passing motorist brought Mr. Gordon to his home and later the injured man was taken to the Public Hospital. The other man was able to return to the camp.
