General inference: Pressure has fallen further over the Dominion, a. depression being centred this morning west of the North Island but moving eastwards.
Forecast: Moderate westerly winds backing to south-westerlies and freshening. Weather unsettled with occasional rain and becoming colder. Seas moderate.
