PRISONERS SENTENCED. VARIETY -OF CHARGES. CASES IN WELLINGTON. [By Telegraph.—Press Association] WELLINGTON, June 17. Prisoners sentenced by Mr. Justieu Ostler this morning were;— John Kaiidall Ferguson, 24, labourer, on three charges of obtaining food by false pretences at Gisborne and Wellington, two years' reformative; Henry Emanuel Blick, 69, seaman and labourer, indecent assault on male at Takaka, three years' hard labour; Horace Raymond Edlin, 31, labourer, breaking, entering, theft and arson, two years' hard labour and declared an habitual crimi nal; Ida Minnie McLcod, 31, married, two charges of breaking, entering and theft, and one charge of breaking and entering with intent, two years' probation; Malcolm John Williams, 23, .joiner apprentice, four charges of theft at Palmcrston North., two years' probation, and to pay costs of the prosecution; John Beattie. Blacksmith and labourer, indecent assault on a femalo at Marton, two years' hard labour; Rauwhuia Te Hautahi Ngerengere, 38, labourer, incest at Tikitiki, five years' hard labour; Daniel Rpence Andrew, 21, farm labourer, assault with intent to commit rape at TTawera, three years' hard labour.
