LOTTERY SUCCESSES
£30,000 IN PRIZES, i More than £30,000 in lottery prizes has been won by people living in three houses in Stewart Avenue, Manly, which must have claims to being Sydney's luckiest Street (says the Sydney "Siiu ,v jl Mr. 0. Butler, who lives at No. 1, Stewart. Avenue, won the third prizo in the State lottery recently. All the other prizes have gone to residents In two guest houses, of which Mrs. W. H. Bethel is proprietress. ".At this table," said Mr. Bethel pointing to a table in the dining-room, .'"sat three men who won £18,000."
Mr. Bethel added that a -woman guest sitting at the next tabic missed a first prize in the State lottery by one number. Strangely enough, a person living only a few doors from Stewart Avenue won the first prize in the State lottery,
