TO-DAY'S FORECAST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. General inference; An anti-cyclone is centred to the north of New Zealand and is moving eastward. The first of a series of westerly .depressions is approaching the South Island. Forecast: Light to moderate westerly winds, 'veering to north-west and freshening. Weather fair and mild, but with increasing cloud. Seas" moderate.
