CAUSES MUCH MISERY. ■ WATERFRONT LOAFER'S FOLLY. When an overseas ship was about to cast off from one- .of'Wellington's wharves recently a small boy came running toward still-lowered gangway. A waterfront, loafer, attracted by the boy's evident hurry, tripped him up and he fell against a bollard. This amused the loafer immensely, but for.4;kevboy it was not so funny. He is laid up for six weeks with a shoulder broken in two placcs,he has lost his job because of the accident, .and he missed saying farewell to his brother, who was sailing in the . ship and will be absent from New Zealand for a year.
