Obituary.

TWO THAMES RESIDENTS. The death occurred in the Thames Public Hospital on Sunday of Mr. John Albert Garry, aged 44 years, son of Mr. A. Garry, of Thames. The funeral will leave St. George's Anglican Church at 2.45 p.m. tomorrow for the Totara Cemetery. Returned Soldiers' Association officials will take part.

The death occurred this morning after a long illness, of Mr. Frederick Ladner, who was 65 years of age. Mr. Ladner was well known in mining circles in former days, having worked for various companies operating in the district.

The funeral takes place at Totara Cemetery to-morrow.
