Flowers For Newcastle.

CHAMPION SHOW EXHIBITS. SHIPPED FROM AUCKLAND. The champion chrysanthemums from the Auckland Horticultural Society's show are to be placed in ice with the intention of sending them to a show which is to be held at Newcastle in September. By that time a number of prize daffodils will also be ready to cross the Tasman. In response to a request from NeAVcastJe, prize daffodils were sent to the Newcastle show from Auckland last year, being taken across to Australia in cool storage on one of the Matson liners. The daffodils were, prize-winners when shown at Newcastle,' and attracted much attention and admiration. Included in the number were champion dqffodil blooms exhibited by the local amateur horticulturists. Messrs. W. and S. Danny.
