THE KING’S. Chirk Gable ami Constance Bennett. two popular M-G-M players, are co-starred in “After Office Honrs, ” sorcening- at the King’s Jinally to-night. Gable is cast as a managing-editor who always gets his story, in a comedy-drama of New York society. When scandal turns into a murder story, realistic drama enters the plot. Based on Victor Hugo’s immortal story, “Les Miserables,” is screening linally at the Regent to-night. Frederic March, Charles Laughton and Cedric Hardwicko are the featured players in this story of the French country youth who was sentenced to live years’ imprisonment in the galleys of a prison ship because of his theft of a loaf of thread. From then oji his life was shadowed by the law and the fanatical detective .Invert. iThc him version is powerfully portrayed by the leading players. Rochelle Hudson plays opposite March in a romantic lead.

“Vagabond Lady,” with Robert Young and Evelyn Venable in a hilarious story concerning itself with the romantic adventures of a voting society man whose “dignity always” is tried to extremity, is to-morrow’s attraction at the Regent.

The second attraction, “That’s Gratitude.” features Frank Craven and Mary Carlisle.
