Into the straight he was closely attended by Golden Sheila, Marjory Daw, Golden Blonde and Palustre. Golden Sheila finished best to win by a neck from Philemup, with Golden Bloude a short head away third. Marjory Daw was fourth. Time, 1.3. SECOND HDCP. HURDLES, 12m. 1— MASTER MUSK, 10.2 (A. The Hiker was responsible foi most of the running, but Modern Maid took charge crossing the top in the last round. Master Musk then put in his run and won easily by five lengths from Modern Maid. Day Wind was half a length further back and Con Fl|oco finished fast on the outside a neck hack in fourth place, lime, 1.47 2-5. Royal Secret and Prince Colossus were early in the lead together from Sinking Fund and Kilberis. Kilberis went to the front crossing the top and \yas follpwed into the straight by Prince Colossus, King Musk, Royal Secret and Sinking Fund. In a great finish Kilberis hung on well to score by a head from Royal Secret, with Sinking Fund finishing fastwide out a head eway third and King Mpsk a close fourth. Time, 1.47 2-5.
