Details (Paeroa players first) : Men's Singles: Lee lost to Denize, 9—4; Thorp beat Arundel, 9—3; Hill beat Jamieson, 9—l; Williams beat Watene, 9 —2; Clark beat Morgan, 9—5; Bartley lost to Pantall, 7—9. Ladies' Singles: Mrs. Bartley beat .Miss Pile, Miss Towers beat Miss Arundel, 7 —(j; Miss Turner beat Miss Jamieson. 7 —4; Miss Day beat Miss Thorp, 7 —4.
