THAMES MEETING. ATTRACTION NEXT WEEK. ACCEPTANCES TO-MORROW. Acceptances for the first day of the Thames Jockey Club’s annual meeting, to he held at l’arawai course on Thursday next, close with the secretary, Mr. W. S. Clark, at 8 p.m. to-morrow, or with the Takapuna Jockey Club, Auckland, at 5 p.m.
The heavy north-easterly rains during the past few days have been just what was required to put the Parawai track in lirst-elass order, and if all goes well the course should be in its most picturesque condition for patrons next week.
