WANGANUI SALE. IMPROVEMENT MAINTAINED. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WANGANUI, April 2. Wanganui’s final wool sale of the season was held yesterday, when a catalogue of approximately 11,000 bales was submitted for auction. Practically 98 per cent, was sold. Prices were to Id better than at the February sale. Fine wools sold up to 101 d, Southdown to lOd, good fine crossbreds to Bd, good medium crossbreds 6d to 62d. Lambs’ wool was Id per lb up on last season.
Bradford was the most active operator. Germany bought sparingly.
