AN EXTRA PERMIT. OLD BETTING- ; SYSTEM. (Special to Star). HAMILTON, March 21. Advice has been received from the Minister for Internal Affairs, Sir Alexander Young, by the Waikato Trotting Club, that it has been granted an extra permit. At a meeting of the club committee it Avas decided to race on May 11 and 13. The Cambridge Club will race on May 6, It Avas decided to revert to the old system of betting, on the 75 and 25 per cent, basis, and to have inner and. outer enclosures Avith totalisator machines operating in each.
