TO-DAY'S FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, March 1. General inference: An intense anti-eyclone is now centred near Chatham Islands, while a shallow depression is approaching the southern portion of the Dominion from the Tasman Sea.
Forecast: Light to moderate east to north-east winds. Weather fair to fine and warm. Seas moderate.
