THAMES AMATEUR CLUB. LAST EVENING'S RESULTS. There was a decided increase in the number of spectators at the Thames "Amateur Athletic Club's meeting on the High School grounds last evening. Results were:— 100yds. Junior.—N. Murray, 7yds, 1; W. Dovell, 2yds, 2; M. Hoskins, scr, 3; 10 3-5. 220yds. Junior.—N. Murray, 17yds 1; R. Scott, 16yds, 2; L. Hays, 18yds, 3; 22 4-ss. 100yds. Senior.—A. R. Johnston, lyd, 1; M. C. Baker, scr, 2; M. K. Baker, 6yds, 3; 10 2-ss. 220yds. Senior—W. Jeffs, 28yds, l ; C." Billing, 18yds, 2; K, McMillan, 18yds, 3; 235. One Mile Open— M. Mann, 160yds, 1; P. Gleeson, 50yds, 2; C. Billing, 20yds, 3; 4m. 435. Schoolboys, 100yds—E. Strange 1, Jack McLean 2, Kennedy 3. Team for Auckland. Nine Thames athletes are taking part in the Auckland championship meeting to-morrow.

M. C. Baker is entered for the 220yds. and 440yds. championships, and P. Gleeson for the mile.

In the junior championship events, M. Hoskins, W. Dovell and C. Wright are competing in the 100yds. and 220yds.; Hoskins and K. McLiesh in the 440yds., and McLiesh in the 880yds. Thames is also represented in the handicap events as follows: — 100yds—W. Dovell, Byds; M. K. Baker, N. " McMillan, B§yds; C. Wright, R. Geraty, 9yds. 880yds.—M. K. Baker, 18yds; P. Gleeson, 32yds; R, Geraty, 45yds; W. Jeffs, 48yds.
