£205 In Fines.
BREACHES OF GAMING ACT. PALMERSTON NORTH CASES. (By Telegraph—Press Association). PALMERSTON N., Feb. 28. Fines totalling £205 were imposed on four defendants in the Magistrate's Court yesterday on charges of breaches of the Gaming Act. The fines were: N. E. Baigent, £SO; A. J. Dewar, £SO; C. J. Williams, £100: and E. Davis, £5. The last-named was in a very small way of business.
