WESTFIELD QUOTATIONS. WEEKLY MARKET REPORT. (Special to Star). AUCKLAND, Jan. 31. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report that at Westfield yesterday their yarding of ox beef was a small one, cows and heifers being penned in average numbers. All classes sold at values firm with last sale’s rates. Extra choice ox beef sold to 24/per 1001 b.; choice and prime, 20/to 23/-; ordinary and plain, 17/- to 19/-- prime young cows and heifer beef,’l9/- to 23/-; ordinary, 14/to 18/-.
No extra heavy prime steers were penned. Heavy realised £B/10/- to £9/10/-; lighter, £7/10/- to £B/7/6, li°ht, £6/5/- to £7/7/6; small and unfinished, £4/10/- to £6/2/6; heavy prime young cows and heifers, £5 to £6/2/6; lighter, £4 to £4/17/6; light, i£3 to £3/17/6; others, £l/10/- to [£2/15/-.
