Announcer Annoyed.

BOYS PLAY PRANK. , ELUDED CAPTURE. The announcer at the Canterbury Aero Club field days at Wigrani Aerodrome sits in the club room, where he can see what is going on, but where he is not seen by tho crowd. Two small boys saw him, and with pocket-mirrors flashed in his eyes, forced him either to retreat further into the club-house or to shield his eyes with the microphone. In neither case could he sec the flying he was describing. Twice he set gramophone records going through the loud-speakers and left his post, and twice failed to find the boys when he got clown to ground level. An elaborate plot requiring the co-operation of a friend on the ground failed because the boys withdrew, victorious, before the attacker arrived.
