Tasman Flight.
OVERHAULING THE MACHINE. START EXPECTED SOON. (A. and N.Z. Cable). SYDNEY, Nov. 7. The New Zealand competitors in the Centenary air race, SquadronLeader J. D. Hewett and Flying-Offi-cer C." E. Kay, with Mr. F. Stewart, landed at Cootamundra, en route to Sydney, and are remaining there for the night. Squadron-Leader Hewett said they would fly the Tasman as soon as their machine had been overhauled at Mascot aerodrome. The other New Zealand competitors, Squadron-Leader M. C. McGregor and Mr. H. C. Walker, arrived at Mascot at 10.45 a.m.
