"Unknown Destination."

DIVULGED AT LAST. N.Z. EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). AUCKLAND, Oct. 30. The "unknown destination" of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force when it left the Dominion in 1914 was made known by General Sir Alexander Godley at a function held in his honour last night. "When we sailed," he said, "our orders were to go to Durban to help, if necessary, quell a rebellion which had broken out there. Our instruc tions were not changed until we had been some time at sea."
