More Customs Revenue.

RETURNS FOR NOVEMBER. Increased Customs revenue is a feature of the returns for Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch for the month of November. Customs duties collected at Auckland last month totalled £213,509. This is slightly more than the October return of £211,373, which was the greatest amount collected in one month since August, 1930, when the total was £228,710. In November, 1932, the Customs collections totalled only £168,970. Customs revenue at Wellington for November was £180,245, compared with £178,928 in 1932. With the exception of the total for October, the figure is the largest since January, 1932. November Customs returns in Christchurch were £66,453 against £57,664 last year.
